Get Involved
Everyone in America is commissioned by the Constitution to be responsible for keeping our government on track. Your involvement in Academic Freedom is important.
What can I do?
- Signup for updates from this webpage
- Let friends know about this movement. Send them a link to this website.
- Promote events that promote awareness of academic freedom in science. We will attempt to list them on this site’s main page under “News and Events,” and you may find more locally.
- Let us know of news and events that you find related to academic freedom in science. We need your help to find them!
- Let us know of other organizations that may be sympathetic to academic freedom in science. State and national organizations are developing at a fast pace, and we need to be aware of each other and supporting each other.
- Contact your state and federal legislators about academic freedom in science. They want to know what is important to you. Simply writing a letter or e-mail to them has an impact. Do a web search for your state’s state or federal senators or representatives. Begin at http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml
- Every state needs an organization specific to promoting academic freedom in science in their state. It won’t happen without a champion, and that champion may be you. Don’t know where to start? Ask us.
- What have you thought of to do? Let us know.
